The MAX Story

Established in 2016, MAX 4×4 Accessories has undergone consultation and collaboration with manufacturers, designers and four-wheel drive experts to bring you a range of 4WD accessories that that meets the harsh demands of the Australian outback.

We are determined to make our mark in the industry, and set a benchmark in quality, design and safety. Focusing on 4WD protection, our current range of bull bars, rear bars, side steps and side rails are designed and tested in Australia and have hit the market running.

Buying 4WD protection is, of course, not just for the protection for your vehicle, but an investment in the safety of you and your family. We have ensured that each MAX bull bar design is independently tested to ensure they meet all relevant ADR’s and Australian standards. 

This rigorous testing verifies not only the strength of the MAX product, but also ensures it is fully airbag compatible with tested, rated tow points that meet all relevant standards.

MAX Gen II

Designed and tested in Australia, the MAX GEN II Bull Bar has all the strength and versatility customers have come to expect from a MAX product, now including:

  • Strengthened, relocated and independently rated (4,000kg) tow hooks
  • New LED combination lights including daytime running lights
  • Slotted aerial tabs
  • Comprehensive easy to follow instructions
  • Stylish embossed overriders
  • Option to include the latest MAX LED fog lights.

Construction

MAX bull bars are individually designed to encapture the differing features of each vehicle. The factory has a wealth of knowledge in manufacturing quality steel accessories using high quality materials. The process starts with a single sheet of steel plate which is laser cut and hand welded.

The bars are then powder coated and undergo strict quality control testing to ensure they meet the highest standards in finish and make.

One side of the process which is generally overlooked is the packaging. After all that hard work, we want to ensure we’re giving you products that are consistently of high quality. The bars are carefully wrapped to ensure there is no damage or exposure on their journey to Australia.
